Meds done - another step closer

We had our medicals done on Monday in Knightsbridge, London.

We got there early but they gave us our forms to complete whilst we waited.
We then got called in and hubby went first for his xray (via the loo for a sample). He had to strip to the waist and all went smoothly. I was then called in (via loo) and I too had to strip to the waist and was given a gown. The xray was quick and simple. i was then ushered into another private waiting room (still in gown). Hubby was called into the Dr and had his medical and as soon as he came out, I went in.

She got me to lie down on the couch, check my stomach and breasts (hubby had his danglies checked too). She then took a blood sample and asked me a few questions such as how much I drink and smoke (I do neither). She also asked about when I last had a smear test and family medical history etc.

I then had to read the bottom line of the sight chart and all was done.

From begining to end it took only 40 minutes for both of us. I can definately recommend this practice as they were very friendly and efficient.

They say they send the result off in three working days, so we hope to get PPR early next year and move out April/May.
