Immigration JournalThe story of two people who emigrated from the UK to Ontario, Canada July 2006.Home | Profile | Archives | Friends
Still waiting, still hoping....Today at work I spent a number of hours sorting out some exhibitions my company is exibiting at later in the year. As marketing manager it is my job to organise our attendance, book meetings and book hotels for both meetings and the attendees. One of the expos is in September, the other in November and whilst I enjoyed looking at all the hotels we might stay in and hold meetings at etc I could not help thinking that hopefully I might not be around to attend them. Being in this queue for immigration is very frustrating as you cannot plan anything. We hopefully will receive our medical requests in the next couple of months and then it could be a couple more before the visa is issued. Also we have to sell our house. This means that we could be looking at moving to Canada as soon as September/October or we could be talking well into next year. I know it will all be worth waiting for in the end, but the actual waiting process is driving us slowly insane! <- Last Page :: Next Page -> |
