Trip update

Yesterday (Tuesday) we went to the bank to deposit some cash in our new account and to pick up our ATM cards. They programmed the cardswith PIN number whilst we waited.

We were also able to set up both phone and internet banking. All done very quickly and staff were very helpful.

After the bank we visited the small business centre to discuss our business plans with them and get advice. Although I have been in contact with them via email and been told that we could just drop in and no appointment was needed, when we arrived the receptionist did everything she could to prevent us from meeting with anyone. We got palmed off with lotsof leaflets and told to phone them if we had any questions. Very unsatisfactory visit.

Today (Weds) we went to the Simcoe area to view more houses. The realator took us to about 8 properties. We found some which were nice houses in not so nice areas or visa versa. One property was particuarly nice but the area was not so nice, so we had to dismiss it.

We have decided we may have to up our pricing limit a little in order to find the right house in the right area. Tomorrow we are visiting a couple more properties, so we will have to see.
