Decision Made!
Today we visited another property, this time in Frankford (or just outside) and it was really nice. It is on an acre of land, brand new,had living room, dining room, kitchen, large master bedroom with huge walk in closet and bathroom. It also has another bedroom on the main floor. In the basement, which isn't really a basement as it is above ground and very light is a rec room or second living area, two more bedrooms, another bathroom and utility room. It also has a crawl space which goes under the double garage for extra storage. The garage has automatic openers. It also has high speed internet access!
We have decided to make an offer on the property and will go into the realtors office tomorrow to sort it out. There is a conditional offer already on the property which means that someone has already made an offer but on the condition that they sell their house first. We can put in another offer and if the vendor is happy with it, the original offerer has 24 hours to either firm up their offer and remove the conditions or decide not to proceed. We would then get the property. As we can offer full asking price if necessary and can go ahead straight away as we have the money and mortgage in place, we hope our offer will be accepted and will go through. Have to wait and see though.
So we should know by Tuesday if the house is ours or not - how exciting!!!!! Makes the trip all worth while.

By the way there are MUCH cheaper places to buy beds and furniture than the Brick...its the most expensive place for what you get that I know. For example the discount place across the street in Belleville is way way cheaper for the same stuff, our "name brand" King bed was less than $1k there.
