457 visa

My husband has been offered a job in Perth on 457 visa he ia a civil engineer with 20 years exp having worked in UAE,Taiwan,Singapore and India in various facets of civil engg..He has good job here in Middle east.I have some questions pl guide

1)He is 47 years old can he apply for permenet residence

2)Wat is ENS?

Will age create problem for PR.

3) Do employers provide health insurance and pay 9% towards superannuation
