Popped up to Fremantle on Wednesday with my friend Sonya to see Prof Princess, had a nice time but on returning there were two job rejection letters awaiting me, felt totally sorry for myself & bummed out. Stuffed my face with chocolate and wondered if I will ever get a job - I had a pretty responsible job in UK and here I`ve even been rejected by McDonalds!! (yet they can employ some spotty 16 yr old ). On Friday hubby had day off, so I decided to go out in the car to practice & build my confidence up, the driving lessons with instructor have been going pretty good but I`d only driven our car on one occasion. So we drive down to beach so I can practice parking, only 1 other car in carpark (big 4x4) hubby is just pointing out which bay he wants me to park in when Mrs 4x4 reverses into me!! Getting out the car , she says that she had looked in her mirror before reversing and we hadn`t been there to which I reply BOLLOCKS!! big hairy knackersacks!! Hubby calms me down she then goes on to say that as it happened in carpark no one is at fault, to which I replied what a load of elephant testicals, she then admitted fault and we swapped info. Her car was undamaged, ours is going to need new back door & end panel we`ve been in touch with insurance and have to take it in for repair, bloody annoying!!
Saturday hubby was working so me & bairn went swimming, had a lot of fun came out of pool and went into cubicle to get dressed, on coming out of cubicle there was a rather large woman on the other bench but I just knelt down and started packing our stuff into the bag, I happened to glance up and wished I hadn`t the very large woman had her back to me and had bent over to dry her feet (totally naked) and I was confronted with her big naked arse in my face! Caught by suprise I fell on to my arse and scrabbled my way into the corner where I could rock back & forward in peace whilst recovering from the shock. Still it gave hubby a laugh!
On Sunday we had invited hubbys relatives down for lunch, so I got up and started tidying up, I was just putting a frying pan away, opened the cupboard door, when something brown scuttled. I screamed cos I had thought it was a very large cocky, hubby says no it was just a lizard because he saw a tail, daughter then says, no it was a mouse - daughter was right!! We eventually caught it and removed it and I pulled everything out the cupboards scrubbed everything and cleaned cupboard with bleach and gave them a good spray with surface spray - just in case any super size cockys did think about holidaying in there!
Max the parrot is still alive and doing well, he is starting to look better every day and he eats like a pig, we`ve heard him meow like a cat and he said hello to Neils Auntie yesterday - he really seemed to take a shine to her.
Ending on a positive note after the relatives had left yesterday we popped up to Target to get me some new trousers as I`ve lost so much weight I can take my jeans off without undoing the zip or button and if I don`t wear a belt they start to fall down. I also got a nice black pair of trousers and some new shoes for all those job interviews I WILL GET!!
