Well it`s reality time
Handed in my notice today, then typed a letter for my boss accepting it , so he could just sign ( I always do this as part of my job - it was just weird doing it for myself!!) Hubby had his medical yesterday (for the job he`s been offered)which he passed and has his drug & alcohol test tomorrow which won`t be a problem (unless he`s hiding a dark secret). I`ve arranged Excess Removals to drop off the tea chests on Tuesday, so we can start packing - hubby announced yesterday that he want`s to be in Perth by the 3rd June - I told him he could whistle Dixie and stick a flag up his arse, so we reached a mutual agreement of the 9th or 10th of June. I have my works leaving do arranged for the1st June and have to say I`m looking forward to it. It`s amazing how stressful this emmigrating lark is - you are so focused on the TRA, then the visa, all of a sudden you have the visa in your hand and you realise that the real stress is only just beginning (Im sure the visa tunnel vision is the body`s shutdown mechanism - a way of coping so you only concentrate on one thing at a time before the larger picture blows your head into little pieces)
