Tales of Thailand

June 28, 2005 |

After a wonderful Thai meal and litre of beer each costing just under a fiver, we managed to get dragged into every taylors going to try and buy a suit.
'The Tsunami came to my shop but I wouldn't let it in' The shop keeper told me proudly as he pointed out his damaged shop front still with sandbags at the front. Our research trip to Perth

June 24, 2005 |

Flew from Glasgow via Dubai on June 5th and arrived in Perth June 6th and thought we were landing back in Glasgow!!…same weather even the ariel view looked the same. Yes you can all blame us for being the ones who brought the weather with them!

I fell asleep as soon as we boarded only to wake up, look out of the window and see tarmac, with amazement I turned to my husband and said "God have we landed!!" "no" he replied "we haven’t took off yet". What a sickener!

Return to Andalucia

June 3, 2005 |

Recently I swapped sexy, sophisticated San Francisco for a remote Andalucian hamlet. It is what you might call a far cry.
