At this special time of year I want to wish each and everyone of you (and your families) a wonderful Christmas and I wish nothing but good things for you during 2012.

Britishexpats.com has been part of our family's life for 12 years. My son has grown up with the site always in the background, and now he's off to university. Life certainly does flash by quickly and times change and people move on. But BE has been a constant in my life and I'm sure in the lives of many of you. You've found laughter, tears, arguments, banter, frustration, information and friendship here, and I hope you all get as much out of BE as I enjoy putting into it. You make BE the great community it has become and it's a privilege to get to "speak" with you all on a daily basis.

I also want to take the time to thank our wonderful Moderators and Concierges who volunteer their time to help out all the members of BE. Without them BE just wouldn't tick along as well. They are a terrific bunch of people and I so enjoy interacting with them everyday. So if you see any of them around please give them a little Christmas Karma and a pat on the back!!!
